The Centurion D5 Origin Sensor (also known as the Gate-Referenced Origin Sensor or Magnetic Origin Sensor) is a high-precision accessory for Centurion D5-series sliding gate operators (including D5-Evo, D5 SMART, and compatible older models).
This hall-effect magnetic sensor replaces or upgrades traditional optical/DOSS systems, providing reliable, non-contact gate position detection. It detects a magnet (origin marker) mounted on the gate rack to establish a precise “origin” reference point, ensuring accurate limit setting, smooth operation, collision detection, and error-free performance—even in dusty, dirty, or ant-prone environments.
